Born in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture in 1979 .


2003 Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Design
2005 Master's Program in Design, Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts
Completion of Drawing Decoration Laboratory (Masataka Oyabu Laboratory, Chinami Nakajima Laboratory)

Yoshiko Kawamoto continues to create works that everyone can sympathize with, triggered by what she discovered in her daily life. A typical example is a work depicting animals and plants such as rabbits and small birds. Imagine and draw based on the five senses such as the joy of living and the friendship, loneliness, joy, and kindness that can occur in everyday life.

She aims to createworks that allow her to feel and sympathize with "contact" through the motifs she draws.

 

In recent years, she has been influenced by yoga and has developed works of yoga
philosophical thinking such as life and death, cause and effect, providence of he universe.
