Art Print Japan Co., Ltd. is a Japanese publisher and distributor of contemporary art posters, prints, greeting cards and framed pictures. Our head office is located in Tokyo and the branch office in Osaka.
We have about 60 A.P.J. shops and counters in major shopping centers and department stores and we wholesale to 600 art shops of 300 companies throughout the country and in some major cities in Asia.

Our wholly owned subsidiary, ”A.P.J. Workshop ”, located in the suburb is a factory which has 3,300 square meters with three stories and manufactures various kind of art frames.

In 1984, as a result of our effort to develop our graphic arts market, which was new business in Japan at that time, we opened our own gallery named graphic station at Harajuku in Tokyo, which is an exceptionally popular place for young people. The gallery gives opportunity to artists to exhibit who have a limited chance to do so their art works.

In order to have a wide variation of merchandise, we import posters, prints, cards and museum goods in large  quantities from abroad mainly from Europe and the United States. We are now doing business with about 300 foreign firms. Our customers are major department stores, design shops, quality art gift shops, galleries and large book stores.

Art Print Japan was established in 1979, more than 3 8 years ago but is still an innovative company. Our annual sales have been rapidly growing year by y ear. Last year, our yearly turnover was 8,500 million yen. We estimate at 9,000 million yen for 2019. However our real goal is to supply people sophisticated an quality graphic arts at reasonable prices and to make popularize and filter into them those arts in Japan. We thought arts should not be only for limited affluent people.
