Born in Tokyo in 1968. Graduated from Nihon University College of Art. After working at an advertising production company, became an illustrator. In 2003, he won the grand prize of the illustration magazine "The Choice Annual Awards".

He worked on the illustrations for Machi Tawara "Hyakunin Isshu", Jiro Akagawa "Three Sisters Detectives", and Masashi Sada "Last Letter". 
He also provided illustrations for the picture books, Michiko Ryo "Hoshi no Merry-Go-Round", Ira Ishida "Princess of the Land of Light", and picture book collection Yuri Mitsuhara "Memory of the Rainbow Town".

In addition, he is in charge of the anime "Everyone makes someone love" of Japan's only public media organization, NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation)'s program "Mother and Islam", and "Aladdin and the Enchanted Lamp".
